不要再进行不必要的争论了,对于维护有困难的镜像源官方文档明确指出不推荐,除非是有困难的特殊地区,可以适当放宽要求。
对于楼下某些可能连这些文档都没有读过的维护者,我十分表示担忧。
cite: Ubuntu Mirror Guidelines
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Mirrors> Obviously, each offer to be an Ubuntu mirror is great and users appreciate it. However, it's in nobody's interest to go and change the sources.list every time a mirror disappears. So if you're not planning on creating a mirror for the long run, don't register it. People might get disappointed in you and/or Ubuntu.
cite: How to create public mirrors for CentOS
https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/CreatePublicMirrors> If you have a data cap which is lower than 15 TB (depending on region), please don't try to add that machine as a mirror. Please also note: If you are in a country which already has a lot of mirrors (like most western countries do, but also some Asian countries), please refrain from trying to add mirrors which have less than 100Mbit/s. If there aren't that many mirrors in your country, we will also accept lower speeds, naturally.
cite: Fedora Mirroring#Bandwidth
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Infrastructure/Mirroring#Bandwidth> Downloaders can consume as much bandwidth as you've got. Mirror sites have at least a 100Mbit/sec connection to the Internet, many have Gigabit/sec, 10 Gigabit/sec, or larger pipes. 100Mbit/sec is the minimum required for new mirrors in countries with adequate mirror coverage already. We can make exceptions for new mirrors in countries that have few mirrors. Connections to Internet2, National Lambda Rail, GEANET2, RedIRIS, or other such high speed research and educational networks are always appreciated.
