Team Lead
Role:
As the Engineering Team Lead, you ’ ll manage a team (4 – 6) of software engineers involved in the research, architecture, and development of blockchain technologies within BitTorrent Live ( http://blog.bittorrent.com/?s=live).
Specifically you will:
1、Manage the development of client technologies surrounding blockchain technology.
2、Manage the development of backend services supporting product initiatives utilizing blockchain technology.
3、Creating operational specifications that will be implemented by the company.
4、Overseeing schedules, assigning tasks and coordinating with management on project priority and delivery.
5、Working with the product manager, use your technical expertise to aid in the development of future products.
Required Skills:
1、Engineering team management skills.
2、English can be used as a working language.
3、Solid Computer Science fundamentals.
4、Must have strong development skills in either:
5、C++ Client-side technologies, or
6、Server development and scaling to high transaction volume (Python/Postgres preferred).
7、Familiarity with Git or other source code control.
Nice to have skills:
1、Blockchain development experience.
2、Peer to Peer networking experience.
3、Experience with containerized applications on Kubernetes.
4、Experience with AWS infrastructure.
5、Remote collaboration skills.
Android Developer
Role:
Contribute to the steering and maintenance of the μTorrent and BitTorrent Android apps.
Required Skills:
1、A solid foundation in Java and/or Kotlin;
2、Proven experience building high-quality apps, ideally published on Google Play;
3、Strong CS fundamentals;
4、Git;
5、Bilingual Chinese and English is highly desired.
Nice to have skills:
1、Firebase;
2、Git Flow;
3、Espresso testing;
4、CI: Jenkins, Fastlane, AWS.
